Democrat election bill, the “For the People Act,” which has advanced to the Senate Rules Committee after it passed the Nancy Pelosi-led Democrat House.
The bill is a top priority for Democrats who seek to radically change the American election process to cement in law the kinds of tactics that Democrats employed during the 2020 presidential election, where paper ballots in cities like Atlanta, Philadelphia and Milwaukee swung the official outcome against President Donald Trump. Some Democrats and leftists have suggested or outright called for ending the filibuster in the U.S. Senate to cram through the Democrat agenda, including their election bill.
