Trump Rally In Sarasota Draws Thousands Upon Thousands Of Supporters

Inside the Trump rally in Sarasota, Fl on July 3, 2021

On Saturday, July 3, 2021, President Trump held a “Save America” rally at the Sarasota County fairgrounds and KTJ Nation was there. The crowds began camping out the night before, and the lines of people wrapped around city blocks. People waited in line for hours, getting baked in the sun just to get inside the fairgrounds. Once inside, there were several heavy downpours some described as a “monsoon”. Despite all of that, not one fan left to go home. They waited there with no shelter and nowhere to sit until after 8pm to hear the President speak for 90 minutes.

Other speakers included Kimberly Guillfoyle, Donald Trump Jr., U.S. Rep Greg Steube, from Florida’s 17 th district, U.S. Rep. Vern Buchanan, from Florida’s 16 Congressional District, U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz, of Fort Walton Beach, U.S. Rep. Byron Donalds of Naples, and Christian Ziegler, Sarasota County commissioner and Vice-chair of the Florida GOP. Although we are not sure exactly how many people attended the rally, Donald Trump Jr. said that over 45,000 had registered for the event. From our viewpoint, that could have definitely been the number in attendance.

At about 8:32 p.m. President Trump took the stage in front of a cheering crowd who began chanting “U-S-A! U-S-A!” He opened up with talk of free and fair elections, and extended well wishes to families of those in the Surfside condo collapse. He spoke about a range of topics from illegal immigration to crime. “We won, we won, we won. We won so much and then we had a rigged election, unfortunately,” said President Trump. During his speech, he touched on Democratic efforts to defund the police and the high crime rate, explaining how the radical left is releasing thousands of criminals by abolishing cash bail. After saying he was bringing back his rallies, he went into how popular he is in Florida and the crowd began shouting “We Love Trump.” Trump said he believed that the country would be unified if the “plague”, referring to Covid-19 had not happened. Although he did not say exactly what his future plans are, he said that ” together we will take back the House, take back the Senate and we will save America.” Trump ended his speech at about 10:10 p.m. The fireworks began almost immediately as fans filtered out of the fairgrounds.

If you’ve never attended a Trump rally, we highly suggest that you do. Despite suffering through the long Iines and severe weather conditions, it is always worth it. It is an exhilarating experience and an especially great feeling to know that you are a part of history. The people at these rallies aren’t just supporting Trump. They are also supporting a wider MAGA movement. “He’s not just one person that we idolize. He is a person that represents the American dream, the American spirit, and the American strength,” said Christy McLaughlin. We couldn’t agree more. Please enjoy the photos and let’s Make America Great Again!
