As we see mask mandates being lifted in state, after state, after state, “the people claiming that ‘it would have been worse without masks’ are moving the goalposts. They used to cheer masks for preventing spikes like the one in the chart. Then we get a spike and instead of admitting they were wrong, they suddenly retreat to the unfalsifiable ‘it would have been worse’ b.s.”

After Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell had the gall to suggest that Trump bears responsibility for the Jan. 6 Capitol Hill riot, he also said he voted not to convict Trump on an impeachment count of inciting the riot – only because he is no longer president. This slap in the face and total disregard for the support Trump gave to McConnell truly illustrates what a disloyal, disingenuous, and weak leader Mitch really is. We were thrilled to read the statement released by President Trump addressing the traitorous conduct of McConnell, highlighting his impotence and poor character.
