The Persecution of Donald Trump

An original KTJ Nation Opinion

August 12, 2022

The unending persecution of Donald Trump is wrong and without merit. It was wrong the first time and it has been wrong all along – but never has it felt more wrong than this moment. This is the moment when the duplicity at work within the New Left movement finally revealed just how far some will go to destroy the former U.S. president – a man they see as both a dangerous political opponent and something less than human.

Anyone who believes the raid conducted on President Trump’s private residence in the early morning hours of August 8th was about the retrieval of “classified documents” has their head in the clouds. What this is about – what this has always been about –  is the complete annihilation of the biggest political threat the Democrats have faced in the modern era. Now we know for certain the current administration is using government branches of power to harass and destroy political enemies. You cannot commit crimes looking for crimes. This should NOT be happening in America.

Trump’s opponents say no one is above the law. This is true, but so far, the FBI and DOJ only appear interested in applying the law in one direction – against Donald Trump. When Secretary of State Hillary Clinton used an unauthorized private server to house all the emails (including classified materials) that she didn’t want on her government server, the FBI didn’t raid her home in Chappaqua, New York. The legacy media, refusing to concede that Clinton had even run afoul of the law, called the investigation that came later a witch-hunt, something deeply rooted in misogyny. Unfortunately, Donald Trump was never to be treated with the same reverence as Hillary Clinton – or even Hunter Biden.

As more and more details about the raid, the unusual search warrant used to facilitate it, and the judge that issued it begin to emerge, We the People must demand transparency. We can’t allow this never-ending persecution of Donald Trump to continue under a cloak of secrecy and collusion. If we are to apply the law to everyone, the law must first be applied to those who oversee and use it in a prosecutorial fashion. Whether the warrant was justified remains to be seen (we’ll give you one guess), but final questions continue to be raised as to whether our government institutions are as honest and impartial as we think and should expect.

It seems impossible for Trump haters to even consider that there is a real man behind the personality, a man who truly loves and wants good things for America. It is time to move past this narrative being pushed by those on the Left that Trump must be stopped at all costs. History is littered with men who robbed their countries and their people of opportunity. Donald Trump is not one of those men.
