OPINION: We’re not sure if anyone actually watched the Oscars last night. KTJ Nation certainly did not. Apparently, Hollywood has once again proven how clueless and out of touch they really are. The Oscars have sunk to a new low as well. Alas, it is now OK for someone to commit assault and battery in the middle of a formal awards show with thousands watching. We doubt there were even that many tuned in, as it had the second lowest ratings in history.

In true liberal Hollywood fashion, the “hosts” of the show tried to paint Florida as “anti-gay.” They also ineffectively attempted to satirize and marginalize the important legislation about to be signed by the Governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis.

The bill prohibits classroom instruction on sexual orientation or gender identity for children in kindergarten through Grade 3. It builds on the Parental Bill of Rights signed into law last year. Needless to say, none of the Hollywood hosts bothered to actually read the bill before making themselves look petty and ignorant.

Governor DeSantis responded today by saying, “If the people who held up degenerates like Harvey Weinstein as exemplars and as heroes and as all that, if those are the types of people that are opposing us on parents’ rights, I wear that like a badge of honor.”

Man we love this guy!
